It started with his father.
Jose Reyes's father entered the Mexican restaurant business in Memphis in 1990. Jose grew up in those kitchens and learned the work from the ground up.

Harrisonburg, Virginia
Then he built his own.
Jose moved to Harrisonburg and opened Tequila on Reservoir Street, blending the tradition he grew up with and his own imagination.

Manhattan, Kansas
A second table.
Tequila Modern Mexican came to Southwind Place in Manhattan, with the same menu, the same bar and the same welcome.
